Soon the commission will prepare its draft (report) and submit it to the government.

After the enactment of the law on population control, now the parents of more than 2 children in Uttar Pradesh may have to be deprived of government facilities and subsidies in the coming time. It is being told that the Uttar Pradesh State Law Commission has started making laws for population control.

It is believed that the Law Commission will submit its report to the state government in the next two months. The commission has started studying the laws applicable in other states including Madhya Pradesh, Rajasthan. According to the information received, this new law is being considered to cut government facilities or subsidies to the parents of more than two children.

The commission is also studying unemployment arising out of increasing population and problems being faced in getting benefits of government schemes, so that laws should be made strict and people should also be made aware.

According to the chairman of the State Law Commission, Adityanath Mittal, the increasing population is causing problems. Those who are helping by controlling the population, they should continue to get the benefit of government facilities. But those who are not following those who do not want to take advantage of these facilities and are free. Population control is different from family planning, it is not against any particular religion or human rights.

With this law, it is just an attempt that government resources and facilities must be available to those people who are helping in population control and contributing. The State Law Commission is preparing the draft of this law after considering many points. After the draft is ready, it will be handed over to the state government.

It is worth mentioning that Assam Chief Minister Dr. Himanta Biswa Sarma on Thursday appealed to the minority Muslim people of the state to adopt a good family planning policy for population control. He said that population is the root cause of every social crisis and if we can control it then social evil will automatically reduce.
