VivaTech: PM Modi said – If we did not do innovation, then our fight with Corona would have been weak

Prime Minister Modi has been invited as a special guest to deliver a speech at VivaTech 2021. In the 5th edition of VVTEC, Prime Minister Modi said that this platform reflects the technological vision of France. India and France are working together on a wide range of subjects. Among these are emerging areas of technology and digital collaboration and this is also the need of the hour.

Prime Minister Narendra Modi addressed the fifth edition of VivaTech (VivaTech) on Wednesday. In this, Prime Minister Modi joined through video conferencing. The Prime Minister started his speech with a big and important issue like the Corona epidemic and what kind of troubles it caused in the world.

In fact, Prime Minister Modi has been invited as a special guest to deliver a speech at VivaTech 2021. In the 5th edition of VVTEC, Prime Minister Modi said that this platform reflects the technological vision of France. India and France are working together on a wide range of subjects. Among these are emerging areas of technology and digital collaboration and this is also the need of the hour.

Prime Minister Modi further said that I invite the world to invest in India on the basis of these five pillars of talent, market, capital, ecosystem and open market culture. He said that there are 775 million internet users in India, which is more than the population of many countries. India is one of the countries with the highest and cheapest data consumption in the world.

Referring to the French Open, Prime Minister Modi said that many youths watched the French Open with great enthusiasm. Infosys provided technical support for the tournament. Be it Capgemini of France or TCS or Wipro of India, our IT talents are serving companies and citizens across the globe.

Referring to Corona, he said that COVID-19 has tested many of our traditional methods. When the pandemic hit India, there was insufficient testing capacity, shortage of masks, PPE and other such equipment. But our private sector played an important role in bridging this gap.

Prime Minister Modi said that if we did not innovate, then our fight against Kovid would have been very weak. We must not give up in this battle, so that we are better prepared when the next challenge comes.

Let us tell you that VivaTech is one of the largest digital and startup events in Europe, which is held in Paris every year since 2016. The 5th edition of VivaTech is being held from 16-19 June 2021.

Key speakers at the event include French President Macron, Spanish Prime Minister Pedro Sánchez and ministers/MPs from various European countries. The event will also see participation from other stalwarts like Tim Cook, (CEO Apple) Mark Zuckerberg (CEO Facebook) and Brad Smith, (President, Microsoft).
