UP Government teacher Recruitment 2021: The Uttar Pradesh government has announced recruitment of 51,112 posts for teachers in Basic Education Council. However, a few months before the assembly elections, the timing of such a decision of the Yogi government is being questioned by the opposition.

73,711 vacant teachers in Uttar Pradesh

The Uttar Pradesh government had informed the Supreme Court about this by filing an affidavit of 51112 vacancies in the Basic Education Council. Then the recruitment was announced by the government through Twitter. Apart from this, in the PAB meeting held by the Uttar Pradesh government on June 2021, the central government was informed about 73,711 vacant teacher posts in the state.

Committee constituted to review vacant posts

A committee has been constituted by the Government of Uttar Pradesh under the chairmanship of the Chairman of the Revenue Council. Soon this committee will submit a report on this matter. Therefore, information about the number of vacancies has been given through Twitter. But only after the final report comes, the final number of posts for recruitment will be decided.

Notification will be issued soon

At the same time, the examination regulatory authority has sent a proposal for teacher eligibility test on 28 November. According to sources, the process of conducting the examination can start from December. For this, the Education Department can also issue a notification by next week.

Earlier in the year 2018, in September 2018, appointment letters for recruitment of 68500 teachers were distributed in Uttar Pradesh. From this platform, CM Yogi announced the recruitment of 69 thousand teachers in record time, for which the Teacher Eligibility Test was conducted in the first week of November. At the same time, the process of application for teacher recruitment started from 22 December. Also, the written examination was completed on January 2019.
