Lucknow: UP CM Yogi Adityanath has made a big announcement for the youth and farmers of the state. CM said that 1 crore youths selected will be given smartphones in the state for studies.
1 crore youth will get smartphones
CM Yogi was speaking on the occasion of presenting the supplementary budget in the UP Assembly. The CM said, ‘A fund has been started with Rs 3 thousand crores for skill development among the youth. The youth who have done graduate, post graduate and technical diploma will be linked to this scheme. Free digital facility will be provided to them according to their need. 1 crore students selected in this scheme will be given smartphones or tablets for studies. Along with this, allowances will also be given to them for preparing for competitive examinations at least 3 times.
Rs 1 lakh crore for payment of sugarcane farmers
He also announced the release of one lakh crore rupees for the payment of arrears of sugarcane farmers. Also said that funds will be released soon for the welfare of lawyers.
Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath said ‘Dearness allowance of government employees has been increased by 28 percent in the state also after the instructions of the Center. This increase will come into effect from July 1 this year. This will benefit 16 lakh government employees and 12 lakh pensioners. Along with this, it has also been decided to increase the honorarium of Anganwadi workers and helpers.
‘Expose the faces of Taliban supporters’
CM Yogi said, ‘In the Panchayat elections held in the state, women have won 46 percent of the posts. At the same time, women have won 56 percent of the posts of block chiefs. Surprisingly, many opposition leaders support the Taliban who are wreaking havoc on another women. On the other hand, they express concern about the welfare of women in the state. Such people should be exposed in front of the public.
‘Houses of the poor will be built on the lands of the mafia’
He said that now houses of the poor and downtrodden will be built on the lands confiscated from the mafia. He said, ‘Everyone has got legal rights in the society. But there are some people who put themselves above the law. The eyes of such people used to stay on the land of the people, they used to take possession of the land as soon as they got a chance. But the government has cracked down on the habits of such people.
CM Yogi Adityanath said, ‘Whoever will take the mafia with him, he knows that then the bulldozer will also go back and forth. In our government, illegal assets worth 1500 crores have been confiscated and demolished. The property of the state belongs to these poor people. We are planning a housing scheme on the same. The lands which these mafias had captured and built their mansions. We will build houses for the poor by demolishing them.

Targeting the SP, he said that some people used to think that if they do something for Kumbh (Kumbh to be held in Prayagraj), they will not be able to congratulate by wearing a cap, but today everyone’s caps have come off. Earlier, UP Finance Minister Suresh Khanna presented a supplementary budget of Rs 7301.52 crore in the House. In his speech, he described CM Yogi as ‘Ram of politics’.
