Twitter now removes RSS Chief Mohan Bhagwat’s ‘blue tick’

A new dispute may arise once again between the central government and Twitter. This controversy is most likely to be about the removal of ‘blue tick’ from the Twitter account. The blue tick was removed from the Twitter account of Vice President Venkaiah Naidu on Saturday morning and now the account of RSS chief Mohan Bhagwat has also been unverified. However, Venkaiah Naidu’s account was verified again after two hours. But the blue tick has been removed from the accounts of many RSS leaders including the Sangh chief.

In the morning, when there was a dispute regarding the account verification of Venkaiah Naidu, it was said in a clarification from Twitter that more than 6 months had passed since the account was logged in, due to which the blue tick was removed. This could also be the reason behind the removal of blue tick from Mohan Bhagwat’s account. Mohan Bhagwat’s Twitter account was created in May 2019, but not a single tweet is showing on his Twitter right now.

Before Mohan Bhagwat, the accounts of many big leaders of RSS were also unverified by Twitter. These include leaders like Suresh Soni, Suresh Joshi and Arun Kumar.

Twitter’s rules say that it is necessary to log in in the last 6 months, only then it will be considered as an active account. However, it is not necessary that you tweet, retweet, line, follow, unfollow. But to keep the account active, it is necessary to log in once in 6 months and it is necessary to keep the profile updated.
