MP News: On June 21, a world record 17 lakh vaccines were administered by MP, the next day, even 5 thousand vaccines could not be administered

Amidst reports of vaccine shortage in the country for several days, the new guidelines for vaccination came into force from June 21. According to this, the central government will provide free vaccine to people of 18 years of age and above in the country. After this, a record 90.86 lakh vaccine doses were administered in the country on the first day. However, on the next day i.e. June 22, this figure came down to 54.22 lakh. The figures are taken from cowin.gov.in.

Madhya Pradesh is being discussed the most in the matter. On June 21, a record was set in the state by administering 17.44 lakh doses. The very next day, this figure fell by more than 99% to 4842. Apart from this, vaccination decreased by 54% in Bihar, 20% in Rajasthan and 18% in Gujarat in the last two days. In this case, Uttar Pradesh made 8.21 lakh doses on June 22 and Maharashtra made a record by applying 5.59 crore doses.

State of Vaccination

  1. Uttar Pradesh
    On Tuesday, 8.21 lakh vaccines were administered in the state. Of these, 5.35 lakh were administered to people in the age group of 18-44 years, 1.93 lakh to 45 to 60 years of age and 92,062 doses to those above 60 years. Earlier, 8800 vaccines were administered in the state on Sunday and 7.68 lakh on Monday.
  1. Maharashtra
    5.59 lakh vaccines were administered here on Tuesday. Of these, 3.95 lakh were administered to people in the age group of 18-44 years, 89,034 lakhs to those aged 45 to 60 years and 74,738 doses to those above 60 years. Earlier, 1.13 lakh vaccines were administered in the state on Sunday and 3.87 lakh on Monday.
  1. Gujarat
    4.27 lakh vaccines were administered here on Tuesday. Of these, 3.15 lakh were administered to the people of 18-44 years, 71,773 to the people of 45 to 60 years and 40,345 to the people above 60 years of age. Earlier, 1.89 lakh vaccines were administered in the state on Sunday and 5.20 lakh on Monday.
  1. Rajasthan
    On Tuesday, 3.80 lakh vaccines were administered in the state. Of these, 2.69 lakh doses were administered to people in the age group of 18-44 years, 55,190 to 45 to 60 years of age and 55,888 to those above 60 years. Earlier, 3.48 lakh vaccines were administered in the state on Sunday and 4.73 lakh on Monday.

    2.93 lakh vaccines were administered here on Tuesday. Of these, 2.15 lakh were administered to the people of 18-44 years, 50,929 to the people of 45 to 60 years and 27,019 to the people above 60 years of age. Earlier, 1.30 lakh vaccines were administered in the state on Sunday and 6.39 lakh on Monday.
  1. Punjab
    1.15 lakh vaccines were administered in the state on Tuesday. Of these, 81,276 doses were administered to people in the age group of 18-44 years, 20,800 to 45 to 60 years of age and 13,800 to people above 60 years of age. Earlier, 34,143 lakh vaccines were administered in the state on Sunday and 1.00 lakh on Monday.
  1. Jharkhand
    1.02 lakh vaccines were administered here on Tuesday. Of these, 77,378 doses were administered to people aged 18-44, 16,640 to people aged 45 to 60 and 8,941 to those above 60 years. Earlier, 1.06 lakh vaccines were administered in the state on Sunday and 98,216 lakh on Monday.
  1. Haryana
    76,628 lakh vaccines were administered here on Tuesday. Of these, 59,100 lakhs were administered to people of 18-44 years, 10,411 to people of 45 to 60 years and 7,117 doses to people above 60 years. Earlier 37,537 vaccines were administered in the state on Sunday and 5.45 lakh on Monday.
  1. Madhya Pradesh
    On Tuesday, 4,842 vaccines were administered in the state. Of these, 3,496 doses were administered to people of 18-44 years, 940 to people of 45 to 60 years and 406 to people above 60 years. Earlier, 692 vaccines were administered in the state on Sunday and 17.44 lakh on Monday.
