Shock to the Taliban from Iran, the President demanded elections, said the elected government should be formed

After the occupation of Afghanistan, the Taliban is preparing to form the next government. It is expected in the coming week that the Taliban will form their government. Despite making all kinds of promises, most countries around the world are unable to fully trust the Taliban.

Meanwhile, Iran’s president has called for elections there to determine the future of Afghanistan. At the same time, it is hoped that after the withdrawal of the soldiers of Western countries, peace will return there.

Speaking on state TV, Iranian President Ibrahim Raisi said that the people of Afghanistan should vote as soon as possible to determine their government. “There should be a government that is elected by the votes and the will of the people,” he said.

Iran always hopes for peace in Afghanistan

He further said that the Islamic Republic has always hoped for peace in Afghanistan, seeking an end to bloodshed and fraternity, and the sovereignty of the people’s will. We support the government elected by the people of Afghanistan.”

It is noteworthy that out of the total 34 provinces of Afghanistan, 33 provinces are currently under the control of Taliban, while the only province is under the control of Panjshir Ahmed Masood and former President Amrullah Saleh. After the initial talks, a fierce confrontation is going on in Panjshir in the last few days. Fighters from both the Taliban and the Resistance Force have died. Masood and Saleh are not ready to back down at any cost.
