According to the vaccination data released till 7 am on Sunday, a total of 32.17 crore doses have been given under the nationwide campaign since 64.25 lakh anti-Covid-19 vaccines have been administered in a day in India. Apart from this, 17,45,809 more samples were tested. With this, 40,18,11,892 samples have been tested so far in the country.

Let us tell you that only two corona vaccines are being given in India. Covaccine, developed by Oxford-AstraZeneca’s Covishield and Bharat Biotech, is being given in India. Apart from this, Russia’s vaccine Sputnik has also been started. Although the trial of some other vaccines is also going on. Apart from this, preparations are being made to vaccinate children too.

NK Arora, President of the COVID Working Group, said that the trial of Zydus Cadila vaccine is almost complete. “By the end of July or in August, we can start giving this vaccine to children in the age group of 12-18 years,” he said.
