The police arrested the accused priest Ashish John and sent him to jail. The police have taken this action against the priest after the complaint of Hinduist organizations. Pastor Ashish John lived with a rented house in Simaria village of Panwari police station area in Mahoba district. It is alleged that he was doing the work of converting the poor for the last eight years.

In this case, the police said, “This pastor named Ashish John is a resident of Ballia district of UP living in Simaria village of Panwadi police station of Mahoba, by luring money to poor villagers, he was engaged in the work of converting them. happened. This pastor is associated with the Christian missionaries of Kerala and was fearlessly doing the work of converting Hindus to Christians by luring money. It has converted from Hindu to Christian by giving money to 3 farmers of Simaria village.

Bajrang Dal’s department coordinator Satyendra Pratap Singh said that he had received information that Ashish John, a pastor associated with Kerala, was converting Hindus, so he complained to the police after gathering information. After this, the police of Panwadi police station arrested Ashish and sent him to jail.

Mahoba SP Sudha Singh said that this is a very serious matter. A high level inquiry is being conducted and the facts that will come out after the investigation, effective action will be taken on it. After the matter came to light, there was a stir in the whole district.

It has been claimed that Ashish Jaan, who was arrested and sent to jail, himself confessed that he is a preacher of Christian missionary and a lot of literature and books of Christianity have also been recovered from him.
