Mysuru Gangrape Case: More horrifying information has come to light in the Mysuru gang rape case. The miscreants made a video of the college girl sexually assaulting and demanded Rs 3 lakh for not making it viral on social media. Police sources gave this information on Thursday. According to the police, the victim has given complete information to the police about how the accused carried out the incident and what happened during that time. Let us tell you that this incident of gang rape is of late Tuesday evening. The victim, who had come to a deserted place with her male friend, was targeted by a gang of six miscreants in an intoxicated state. They attacked her male friend with a small stone.
According to police sources- the miscreants caught the victim and her male friend and raped her for about two hours. Since the place is isolated and people fear the movement of leopards, the miscreants were sure that their actions would go unnoticed and no one would come to save the girl.
Somehow reached the hospital
The miscreants repeatedly hit the victim’s friend with small boulders, slapped them and beat them up. Both pleaded that they would not tell anyone about the incident. Even after that the gang continued their attack and left them in a deserted place almost unconscious. Somehow the victim and her friend reached a hospital and told the authorities that they had been attacked. He did not reveal what exactly happened for fear of the video being released. But later the victim’s male friend told the police about the rape.
Empty beer bottles found in the area
Police have recovered empty beer bottles and cans from the area. Police sources said that they are working on tracking the calls from the tower location as they suspect that the miscreants are spending more time there. Meanwhile, the National Commission for Women has registered a case taking suo motu cognizance in the gang rape case. Chairman Rekha Sharma has said that the commission will meet the victim on Thursday.
Rapists were talking in Kannada
Police is collecting information from the victim’s friend, but so far no clue has been found. The state government has appointed ADGP Pratap Reddy to probe the incident. Police are looking for clues as there is no CCTV. According to initial information received from the girl and her friend, the miscreants spoke in Kannada. This shows that they are local people. The police is waiting for the victim’s detailed statement and on the basis of the information given, is preparing the sketch of the miscreants.
