Maharashtra: ED raids the premises of Shiv Sena MP Bhavna Gawli and former Home Minister Anil Deshmukh

The Enforcement Directorate (ED) raided the house and office of Shiv Sena MP Bhavana Gawli Patil on Monday. The raid has been hit at 6 to 7 locations including Bhawna Gawli’s house and office in Yavatmal. The raiding process is still going on. Along with this, ED also raided many places in the case of former Maharashtra Home Minister Anil Deshmukh.

Bhawna Gawli Patil is a Shiv Sena MP from Yavatmal. ED has conducted this raid on a case related to fraud of Rs 72 crore. It is being told that in this case, ED has raided many places including Bhawna Gawli’s house and office.

Bhawna Gawli is one of the strong leaders of Shiv Sena. She has been winning the last 5 Lok Sabha elections continuously. Bhawna was first elected as a Lok Sabha MP in 1999. After that in 2004, 2009, 2014 and 2019 also she won the election.

Apart from Bhavna Gawli, ED’s raids are also going on in the case of Anil Deshmukh. These raids are going on at three different locations including a hideout in Mumbai. On Sunday itself, the ED has summoned ministers in the Maharashtra government and Shiv Sena leaders Anil Parab and Anil Deshmukh in the money laundering case. He will be questioned on Tuesday.
