Lucknow: Atalji’s picture missing from the hoardings in the foundation stone laying ceremony, Defense Minister raised questions

Defense Minister Rajnath Singh attended the inauguration/foundation program of 180 development projects worth Rs 1,710 crore in Lucknow on Tuesday. During his address in this program, the Defense Minister raised questions on the hoardings not having a photo of former Prime Minister Atal Bihari Vajpayee.

The Defense Minister said that there may or may not be a picture of all of us in Lucknow but it must have the picture of Atal Bihari Vajpayee on all of us. Expressing surprise over the absence of PM’s portrait before the back drop of the meeting place, he said that this should not have happened. We cannot imagine Lucknow without Atal Bihari Vajpayee.

Further, the Defense Minister said that the speed with which CM Yogi Adityanath has worked to advance the wheel of development, it is less appreciated than it is. Seeing all this, the voice will not come out of the opponents’ mouth.

He said that in the last 20 years, the population of Lucknow city is increasing at the rate of one lakh and the number of vehicles is about 80 thousand per annum. The population has increased to about 45 lakhs, the number of vehicles has reached above 26 lakhs. The construction of an 8-lane ring road of 104 km around Lucknow is going on at a rapid pace.
