India raised objection to drone activity, issue raised in commander level meeting of BSF and Pak Ranger

Commander level meeting between BSF and Pak Ranger Sector was held on Saturday on Suchetgarh border of Jammu and Kashmir. During the meeting, the commanders of both the Border Security Forces discussed Pak drone activities, terrorist activities by Pakistan from across the border, digging of tunnels by Pakistan and other issues related to border management.

In the commander level meeting, it was decided that as and when required, immediate dialogue between the field commanders would be reactivated to resolve the operation matters. The meeting was held in a cordial, positive and constructive atmosphere and both sides agreed to expeditiously implement the decisions taken in the earlier DG level talks. Also showed commitment to maintain peace and harmony on the international border.

In the meeting, BSF officials expressed strong opposition to the activities of drones being done by Pakistan. In this meeting, the BSF delegation was led by DIG Surjit Singh of Border Security Force and the delegation of Pakistani Rangers was led by Brigadier Murad Hussain of Sialkot sector. This was the first commander level meeting between the border security forces of the two countries, after the ceasefire agreement was announced by the DGMO.

It is known that in recent times many conspiracies being hatched by Pakistan in Jammu and Kashmir have been foiled. Security forces have shot down several Pakistani drones. At the same time, attacks were also carried out on the airbase of Jammu through Pakistani drones. The intensity of the explosion was so strong that there was even a hole in the roof of the building.
