Gupkar leaders will attend PM Modi’s meeting on Jammu and Kashmir, but no agreement on 370

The leaders of the Gupkar organization will also participate in the meeting to be held on Jammu and Kashmir under the leadership of Prime Minister Narendra Modi. This decision has been taken by the Gupkar organization in a meeting held at Farooq Abdullah’s house on Tuesday.

The Gupkar organization of political parties of Jammu and Kashmir has decided that they will attend the meeting called by Prime Minister Narendra Modi. A meeting is to be held on June 24 on Jammu and Kashmir under the leadership of Prime Minister Narendra Modi, in which the parties and leaders of Jammu and Kashmir have also been called. Before this great meeting, a meeting of Gupkar organization was held in Srinagar today, this meeting was held at the residence of former Union Minister Farooq Abdullah.

After the meeting of the Gupkar leaders, Farooq Abdullah said that we will attend the meeting called by the Prime Minister, after the meeting the media will be talked to in Srinagar and Delhi. Our agenda is known to all and will remain the same.

Other leaders of the Gupkar group said that we have got an opportunity to speak in front of the Prime Minister and the Home Minister. We will keep the matter of our people in front of them, we will not consider them as stars but will only ask for what is ours. The leaders say that they will not sign any paper, nor will they make any agreement on 370.

A total of seven political parties of Jammu and Kashmir come under the Gupkar organization, among which the most important and big parties are National Conference, PDP. Gupkar organization leader Muzaffar Shah says that we will discuss about the Prime Minister’s invitation. Also, there will be talk about 35A, 370 and a decision will be taken.

First big initiative after abrogation of Article 370
Let us tell you that a total of 16 leaders of Jammu and Kashmir have been invited by the Central Government, in which they have been asked to attend the meeting called by Prime Minister Narendra Modi on June 24. After the abrogation of Article 370, 35A from Jammu and Kashmir, this is the biggest initiative by the Center to communicate with the state leaders.

Local leaders of Ladakh have also been called in the meeting with Prime Minister Narendra Modi. Now two years are about to be completed after the abrogation of 370, in such a situation there is constant speculation that Jammu and Kashmir can get full statehood back or the electoral process can go ahead. However, all these are just speculations and nothing concrete has come to the fore.
