Eng team announced for Test series against India, no place for this dangerous bowler

The England and Wales Cricket Board (ECB) has announced a 17-man squad for the first two matches of the upcoming Test series against India. The captain of the team will be Joe Root. Fast bowler Ollie Robinson has returned to the England team. While fast bowlers Jofra Archer and Chris Woakes have not been selected in the team due to injury.

England have included Ben Stokes, Jos Buttler, Jonny Bairstow and Sam Curran in the team for the first two matches. These players were not involved in the two-match Test series against New Zealand. England had to face defeat 1-0 in this series.

The five-match Test series between India and England will be played from August 4 to September 14. The series will start from Nottingham. The second Test match will be played from August 12 at the historic ground of Lord’s.

The third Test match will be held in Leeds from 25 August. The fourth Test will be held at the Oval in London from September 2. The fifth and last Test match will be held in Manchester from 10 September.
