Devotee offered 10 kg gold crown on Ganpati, the price is about 5 crores

During Ganesh festival this year, Dagdu Sheth Halwai Ganpati in Pune Maharashtra has been presented with a crown made of 10 kg gold by a devotee. The special thing is that this devotee has also kept his name confidential.

Talking to Aaj Tak, Mahesh Suryavanshi, a trustee of Dagdu Sheth Halwai Ganpati Mandal, said that an industrialist from Pune city has presented a gold crown as an offering.

This industrialist has asked to keep his name confidential, so the trustee of the temple has not revealed the name of this charitable devotee.

The temple trustee did not consider it appropriate to give information other than the weight of the crown. According to the market price, the cost of this 10 kg gold crown is about five crore rupees in today’s date. The cost of gold alone is about 4 crores and the cost of workmanship is 80 lakhs.
