Center bans Delhi government’s ‘house-to-house ration’ scheme, name change did not work

If sources in the Delhi government are to be believed, then the central government has banned the door-to-door ration scheme. From next week onwards, the Delhi government was preparing to deliver ration to the homes of 72 lakh people under this scheme.

The central government has banned the door-to-door ration scheme of the Delhi government. Under this scheme, the Kejriwal government was going to deliver ration to the homes of the people. But this has not been allowed by the Centre. On this, Kejriwal will now hold a press conference tomorrow morning at 11 am. Let us tell you that this scheme was going to start in Delhi from March 25. But even then the central government had banned it. After that again the Delhi government changed it and sent the proposal to the Center.

‘Objection was raised on the first name’
The central government had objections to the name of this scheme. After this, the Delhi cabinet passed a proposal to change its name and it was named Ghar-Ghar Ration Scheme. Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal had also said then that we have nothing to do with the name. Ration should reach people’s homes. But even with the changed name, the Center has not approved this scheme.

‘Center said: permission was not taken’

If sources in the Delhi government are to be believed, then the central government has banned the door-to-door ration scheme. From next week onwards, the Delhi government was preparing to deliver ration to the homes of 72 lakh people under this scheme. But now the central government has said that the Delhi government had not taken approval for this, so it cannot be passed. Let us tell you that in the schools of Delhi, ration is being given to those without ration cards. But now because the house-to-house ration scheme has been put on hold, in such a situation, the battle of AAP vs. Center will be seen to start again and another scheme will be sacrificed to politics. Even before this, there has been a tussle between the Delhi government and the Center on many issues.

In the Corona period, the situation has become worse, where there has been a dispute on every issue, from oxygen to vaccine, and many times the door of the court has to be knocked. Now that Corona is under control and preparations are on to distribute ration among the poor, this scheme has also been put on hold for now and the blame game has started once again.
