‘Car production difficult’, Anand Mahindra gave this answer to Elon Musk’s tweet

A tweet by Anand Mahindra, chairman of Mahindra Group, who is active on social media, is in discussion. Anand Mahindra has responded to Tesla CEO Elon Musk’s view on the issue of car production.

Actually, Elon Musk on Tuesday tweeted a story related to British tech company Dyson’s failed attempt to make an electric car. In which he said- “Production is difficult. Production is extremely difficult with positive cash flow.”

Tesla’s CEO further said that ‘large existing car manufacturers sell their cars from low to zero margin. They also earn from parts replacement. Giving the example of razor and blade, he said that new car companies do not get these benefits. They also lack sales and service infrastructure.

Anand Mahindra replied to this tweet by Elon Musk. Indian business tycoon Mahindra seemed to agree with Elon Musk’s opinion, but he also spoke about how automakers are trying to overcome these challenges.

Mahindra wrote- ‘Elon Musk you said this. We’ve been doing this for decades. Still sweating. This is our way of life…’ Thousands of people have reacted to this tweet by Mahindra in a few hours. As of now, Elon Musk has not responded to Mahindra’s tweet.

It is worth noting that Mahindra company has recently launched Mahindra XUV700, which has emerged as its best vehicle. According to reports, the company has also registered a growth of 17 percent in sales of passenger vehicles in the domestic market in August as compared to last year.
