Basavaraj Bommai appointed as new Chief Minister of Karnataka, Governor administered oath

The rule of new Chief Minister Basavaraj S Bommai will run in Karnataka from today. Basavaraj Bommai took oath as the Chief Minister of the state at 11 am on Wednesday. Only B. Bommai has taken oath, that is, the cabinet will be expanded later.

Before taking oath on Wednesday, Bommai started his day with some leaders by visiting Anjaneya Temple near Balabruyi Guest House and seeking God’s blessings. Apart from this, when he was going on stage to take oath in Raj Bhavan too, he did B.S. Yediyurappa’s blessings were taken.

BS in Karnataka After Yeddyurappa’s resignation, the Bharatiya Janata Party has elected Basavaraj S Bommai as the leader of the legislature party. The BJP Legislature Party meeting was held in Bengaluru on Tuesday, led by central observers, in which Bommai’s name was stamped.

Let us tell you that Basavaraj Bommai started his political career with the Janata Dal, after which he became a part of the Bharatiya Janata Party. He got BS. Considered close to Yediyurappa, that is why he got the advantage in the race for the post of Chief Minister and his name was selected.
