The US presence in Afghanistan for more than 19 years has come to an end. The last three US military planes also took off from Kabul Airport late on Monday night. According to reports, the last three C-17 aircraft of the US Army took off from the Hamid Karzai International Airport in Kabul at midnight on August 30-31, marking the end of the US military operation in Afghanistan.

According to news agencies, Newsweek editor Naveed Jamali tweeted that the war is over, the last plane has taken off. At the same time, a CNN reporter said that the last three US C-17 aircraft have taken off from Hamid Karzai International Airport. This could be the end of America’s presence in Afghanistan. At the same time, Murad Gazdiev of RT tweeted saying that the war is over. The remaining US soldiers have just left Kabul airport.

Murad has also said that this fight lasted for 19 years, 10 months and 25 days. Afghan journalist Masoom Ghaznavi posted a photo of American soldiers preparing to leave Kabul airport, calling it the last picture of the occupation of his country.

The Taliban also celebrated the victory by firing bullets into the air after American troops left Kabul. Significantly, US President Joe Biden had announced to withdraw his army from Afghanistan by first September, then by August 31.

The Pentagon confirmed

Pentagon confirms US military is leaving Afghanistan. It was expected that the US army might stay there for a few more days to evacuate the people trapped in Afghanistan, but it did not happen. Taliban spokesman Suhail Shaheen also tweeted confirming the US military’s departure from Afghanistan, calling it freedom for Afghanistan.

Women’s education up to university

The Taliban’s acting education minister has said that women will be allowed to study up to university level, but their classes will not be conducted with men.

After the announcement of the withdrawal of US forces, the Taliban, who went on the offensive, defeated the Afghan army and occupied Afghanistan. There were still 24 hours left in the deadline for the withdrawal of troops from Afghanistan, but the US troops already took off.
