Congress leaders Pargat Singh, cabinet ministers Sukhjinder Randhawa, Tript Rajendra Singh, Charanjit Singh, Sukhwinder met Harish Rawat in Dehradun on Wednesday. After this, all these leaders can also meet Congress President Sonia Gandhi in New Delhi.
Congress leader Pargat Singh says that many issues of the MLAs have not been resolved yet, so there is resentment among the MLAs. In such a situation, he will appeal to the Congress high command that the Chief Minister should call a meeting of all the MLAs and resolve the issues.
Significantly, before the assembly elections next year in Punjab, there is a war going on within the Congress party itself. Earlier there was a crisis regarding making Navjot Singh Sidhu the President, now in the past, many MLAs and leaders of Punjab Congress have demanded that the Chief Minister should be changed before the elections.
Apart from this, Captain Amarinder Singh, his government is also being targeted continuously by the advisors of Punjab Congress President Navjot Singh Sidhu. In such a situation, the war within the party is coming to the fore before the elections.
