4 new districts and 18 tehsils to be formed in Chhattisgarh CM Bhupesh Baghel announced on Independence Day

The country is celebrating 75th Independence Day today. The countrymen are immersed in the celebration of Independence Day. Independence day was celebrated in Chhattisgarh by organizing various programs. On the day of Independence Day, Chief Minister Bhupesh Baghel announced a big gift to the people of the state. CM Baghel has announced the formation of four new districts and 18 tehsils in Chhattisgarh.

Chief Minister Bhupesh Baghel announced a historic gift for the people of the state in the main function of Independence Day organized at Police Parade Ground in the capital Raipur on Sunday. CM Bhupesh Baghel, while addressing the people of the state after flag salutation on Independence Day, announced the formation of four new districts by reorganizing the districts in Chhattisgarh.

CM Baghel said that new districts will be created under the names Mohla-Manpur, Sakti, Sarangarh-Bilaigarh and Manendragarh. The CM also announced the formation of 18 new tehsils in the state. It is worth mentioning that at present the total number of districts in Chhattisgarh is 28. The government has announced the creation of four more districts. By adding four new districts, the number of districts in Chhattisgarh will reach 32.

Earlier, CM Baghel congratulated the people of the state on Independence Day and remembered the brave freedom fighters who laid down their lives in the freedom struggle. The CM bowed to the freedom fighters as well as their ancestors.
