Prime Minister Narendra Modi on Friday launched a specially designed training program for COVID-19 healthcare frontline workers from 111 training centers in 26 states. During this, PM Modi said that with every precaution, we have to further enhance the preparedness of the country to deal with the challenges ahead.

PM Narendra Modi said that today a great campaign to prepare about 1 lakh front line corona warriors is starting in the country, in the second wave of corona, we saw what kind of challenges the frequently changing nature of this virus can bring in front of us. Yes, this virus is still among us and there is a possibility of it being mutated.

PM Narendra Modi said that the corona epidemic has also alerted us to expand our capabilities as a science, government, society, institution and individual, to support the current force fighting Corona, about 1 lakh people in the country. A target has been set to train youth, this course will be completed in 2-3 months.

PM Narendra Modi said that this campaign will also give new energy to the front line force of our health sector fighting Kovid and will also create new employment opportunities for our youth, new AIIMS, new medical colleges in the country in the last 7 years. Emphasis has been laid on the construction of new nursing colleges, many of which have also started functioning.

PM Narendra Modi said that under the special training program of frontline workers, candidates will get free training, skill India certificate, food and accommodation facility, stipend along with on-the-job training and accident insurance of Rs 2 lakh for certified candidates.

PM Narendra Modi said that our ASHA, ANM, Anganwadi and village health workers have played a big role in successfully running the vaccination campaign in remote areas, hilly and tribal areas in preventing the spread of infection in villages.

PM Narendra Modi said that after completion of the special training program of Kovid-19 Healthcare Frontline Workers, candidates will be able to work in Primary Health Centers, Community Health Centers, Health Facilities and Hospitals under the arrangement of DSC/SSDM.
